When I am busy it can feel like I don't have time to do anything creative. It feels overwhelming....the thought of starting a blank piece of paper, choosing a colour palette, deciding on a theme/subject, making enough space on my table to even start...you get the idea! But you can shift that mindset if you create in small bursts, just one mark or layer at a time. Lately I have been finding myself increasingly drawn to using recycled, pre-loved or repurposed elements in my creative process. I guess that it became a more conscious choice when I started my junky art journals - using old books to create the journal - but it has developed beyond that as I have started to explore stitching, gelli printing and weaving more regularly. I thought that I would share my process for making a few cards for this month's Take 3 Challenge where the inspiration prompts are: B&W + 1 colour, Bird and Stamping.
